Great post. Understanding how a company defines a particular role is really important to understand if it's gonna be a match for your skills and expectations
Great post! And you're right about title ambiguity, it's also common in product roles. A PM at one company might set the vision for an entire product suite, while at another they focus on a single feature and have limited influence. Or, it can be a highly collaborative position in some companies, but very lonely in others. It's so important to understand the role's scope before accepting the job.

Great post Gábor and David!
The final quote says it all: "A leadership title won’t make you more fulfilled—but doing work you enjoy will."
Thanks Rafa,
It is very nice to receive recognition from a great professional like you
Great quote. Thanks for reading!

Thank you for your kind words, Karo.
I completely agree with you. People tend to focus only on the title, but the scope is more important than that.
It is important to make the right choice because this decision will have plenty of consequences
Yes, I think this applies to so many industries (not just tech). It’s all about making the most of your current role (beyond your title)!
It was really great collaborating with you David
